We are now located at the roundabout of Lydiard and Macarthur streets. Our new salon has been designed around the heritage building with an art deco meets modern vibe. (and with FREE all day parking).

We have a range of treatment rooms, 2 tan rooms, 2 spa pedicures, 2 nail tables, a unique makeup area with 3 stations and a hairdressing station. Our same, amazing staff will be looking after you and your beauty needs.

Creative Director

Steph has been working in the beauty industry for over 15 years. She holds a Diploma in Beauty Therapy from Ella Bache and has completed several short courses, masterclasses and work shops to stay on top of all the latest beauty trends. She has a passion for studying and most recently has completed her Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment.

Steph began using her outstanding skills in threading, brows and lashes to build a regular client base. She quickly turned her passion into a successful career, and nine years ago, she opened Rubi Wax + Beauty in Ballarat with her cousin. Since 2017, Steph has been the sole owner of the salon and has taken it from strength to strength.

Steph lives with her husband Luke and their two boys, Ted and Bob. The salon name 'Rubi' is a family name and was chosen for the salon because her family is so close to her heart.
